Marit is an enthusiastic and enterprising mother, married with two children. Her years of experience as a (legal) secretary and PR assistant at De Haij & Van der Wende Advocaten have made her accustomed to the hustle and bustle of the workplace. She enjoys planning, organising and being there for her clients. She highly values collegiality and hospitality. She is an epicurean, but also sports-minded. She enjoys eating out, cooking, taking long walks and loves dogs.

In addition to her legal job at De Haij & Van der Wende, she has been running her own dog walking and pet sitting service for a number of years now and she volunteers at the Animal Shelter Gouda (Dierenbescherming), occasionally helping out at the open days organised there.
