Arbitration

Arbitration

Construction / contracting agreements often include a clause stating that all disputes that arise between the parties are submitted to the Council for Arbitration for the Construction Industry. This is a specialized court that not only has legal but also professional (construction) knowledge. The legal process in Arbitration is different from the legal process to a ‘normal’ court.

Because the procedure is more complex, you have a greater need for knowledge of the procedural side of the law. We have this knowledge in-house and are happy to guide you through this procedure.

Your case before the arbitration court is almost always construction-related. The real estate lawyers of De Haij & Van de Wende also have the substantive knowledge to bring your case to a successful conclusion. We know the procedure, but we also prepare your case down to the last detail and ensure that your interests are optimally served. Because we assist both sides of the contract (both the construction company and its client), we know both sides of the same coin. We know how to best assist you.
